The overview of this paper is to look at the kinetics and kinematics of gait analysis. Our research was based off data that we got by putting markers on a person specific anatomical landmarks and capturing the movements of those markers with motion sensor cameras. These cameras and markers helped to capture motion and calculate the kinematics portion. We then put the test subject to run on a treadmill that contains force plates under it so that we are able to calculate the forces and the kinetics portion. After we collect the data we put the data into the computer and use Nexus 2.5 so that it makes different models for us. Then we processed our results and obtained graphs that contained the angles, the velocity, and the acceleration of the lower extremity. In conclusion our results showed that for angle mostly the knee and and ankle the right and left foot were asymmetrical. All our other data showed that the left leg and the right leg were symmetrical.
